Wow! The Howard Lake Country Store is trying their hand at blogging and this is our first attempt - so hang in there with us while we are figuring it out! We are really excited, the weather is warming up, we have lots of new inventory coming in everyday and our customers are getting horse fever and so are we. Along with trying our hand at blogging, you will now be able to find us on facebook and twitter. We are stepping out of our box and trying to connect with our customers in a new way. These are not the only changes you will see for the Howard Lake Country Store in 2010! We have become a GOLD dealer for Weaver Leather and with that came lots of cool new horsey inventory! We are now running monthly specials on our Weaver products and the month of March is 10% OFF OF SPURS & SPUR STRAPS, stay tuned to see what is on special next month! We are also gearing up for our Horse Owners Workshop meeting which will be held at the store on March 25, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This is going to be a really cool event as we have Rae Ann Bartz from Olivia, MN coming in to talk about fitting your horse with the proper bit. Breck Kruger with Land O’ Lakes Purina will also be on hand speaking about finding the right feeding program for your horse. This will be a fun evening filled with food, in-store specials and education. If you bring a friend you will also get a coupon for $10.00 off of your next Premium Purina Horse Feed purchase.
